Privacy policy

Scope

This policy covers information-age-consulting.com. It does not cover our separate project sites, or third-party sites we link to, each of which has its own policy.

What this site collects

This is a static website. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, carries no advertising, and does not track you across sites or build a profile of you. Three things do involve data:

1. The contact form

If you use the contact form we receive the name, organisation, email address and message you type, together with your IP address and the time of submission, which are recorded to limit automated abuse. The message is delivered to us by email. We use it to answer you and, if we go on to work together, to keep a record of the enquiry.

2. Server logs

Our hosting provider records standard web-server logs — IP address, the page requested, the time, the browser identifier. These are generated by the hosting infrastructure for security and troubleshooting, and are retained according to that provider’s own schedule.

3. Fonts loaded from Google

The typefaces on this site are requested from Google Fonts when a page loads. That request necessarily reveals your IP address and browser to Google, whose own privacy terms then apply. No cookie is set by this. We are moving to serving the fonts from our own server, which will remove this third-party request entirely.

What we do not do

• We do not sell, rent or trade your information.
• We do not use it for advertising or share it with advertisers.
• We do not add you to a mailing list because you sent an enquiry.
• We do not use enquiries to train AI models.

Why we are allowed to hold it

We process enquiry data because you chose to send it and we need it to respond, and because we have a legitimate interest in operating a secure website and keeping records of our business correspondence. Where consent is the basis, you may withdraw it at any time.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within twelve months. Correspondence connected to an engagement is kept for as long as that engagement requires and for any period afterwards that professional or statutory record-keeping obligations demand. Server logs follow the hosting provider’s retention period.

Who else sees it

Two categories of provider necessarily handle this data: our web hosting company, and our email provider. Both act on our instructions. We do not disclose enquiry data to anyone else except where a Kuwaiti court or competent authority lawfully requires it.

Our hosting and email infrastructure may store or process data outside Kuwait. Where that happens we rely on the provider’s contractual safeguards.

Your rights

You may ask us to tell you what we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, delete it, or stop using it. Write to info@information-age-consulting.com and we will respond within thirty days. If you are unsatisfied with our response you may complain to the Communication and Information Technology Regulatory Authority (CITRA) in Kuwait.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. The contact form validates and sanitises input. Because the site is static there is no database and no login, which removes the most common causes of website breaches. No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise.

Children

This site is intended for professional and institutional audiences. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be noted here rather than made quietly.
